Ms. Butrymowicz is a Doctor of Laws, researcher and legal counsel with long-standing experience in national and international commercial law. She has authored scholarly publications on law (with a particular focus on human rights) and social sciences, issued in Poland and at foreign universities. She has attended international conferences, including as a speaker. She has been assistant professor at the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Kraków and visiting professor at the University of Oxford and University of Arizona (US). Ms Butrymowicz cooperates with the Law and Society Association, Polish Branch of the International Law Association, and Réseau Académique sur la Charte Sociale Européenne et les Droits Sociaux. She has experience in negotiating and concluding domestic and international trade contracts, and is a specialist in Anglo-Saxon commercial, family and process laws.

Since 2010, she has worked as a legal counsel, in both private and public sector, providing advice in such areas as civil law, public procurement law, construction law, commercial law, international economic law, and business arbitration. From 2010 to 2019, she ran her own legal practice, where her clients included the 35th Military Economic Branch, Karmar S.A., Grupa Azoty S.A., GSP Poland and other entities.

Since 2019, she has served as Business Process Expert at Poczta Polska S.A. and as Deputy Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Grupa Azoty Kopalnie i Zakłady Chemiczne Siarki Siarkopol S.A.
