We would like to inform you that due to the failure of the heating system in the reaction unit for caprolactam polymerization and unforeseen technical problems during the start-up of one polymerization line after a planned upgrade (adjustment) to production of PA6 HV, it is necessary to make repair works at production lines of PA6 HV (high viscosity), which interrupts our ability to produce PA6 HV (high viscosity) polymer temporarily.

It shall be necessary to carry out repair works on the HV production lines and on the basis of the information currently available no binding end of the repair works can be predicted.

We shall also keep you up to date on the progress of removing the defect and the expected date of Force Majeure's cancellation.

We do apologize for any inconvenience caused and ask for your patience and understanding because we are doing our best to manage safely the current situation in such a way as to minimize the effects of the defect and to start the production of polyamide 6 (PA6) as soon as possible.
