On July 14, 2025, Grupa Azoty and the key stakeholders of the Polimery Police project signed another annex to the Cooperation and Stabilization Agreement dated December 19, 2024, extending its term until July 31, 2025.
On the same day, another annex was also signed—valid through July 31, 2025—to the agreement dated January 16, 2025, between Grupa Azoty and two of its subsidiaries, GA Police and GA Polyolefins, along with Orlen. The annex concerns the continued collaboration aimed at determining the terms and conditions of a potential transaction involving the acquisition of all or part of the shares in GA Polyolefins held by Grupa Azoty and GA Police, or pursuing an alternative form of investment.
‘During ongoing negotiations, Orlen informed us that it is not interested in acquiring all or part of the shares in GA Polyolefins. However, the company has declared its willingness to continue discussions to develop a viable use for the assets of GA Polyolefins. All parties to the agreement have expressed their intent to continue working together to determine what form of cooperation—other than a share acquisition—would be mutually acceptable and beneficial,’ commented Andrzej Skolmowski, President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty, upon signing the agreement.
