Grupa Azoty has become Patron of the Mościce Arts Centre for 2022, continuing a long-standing partnership.
‘The Mościce Arts Centre is a successor of the Cultural Centre of Zakłady Azotowe in Tarnów-Mościce opened in 1971, and subsequently of the Mościce Cultural Foundation, whose sole founder was our Company. For years now, the Centre has successfully fostered and popularised the cultural heritage of Lesser Poland, running educational initiatives in the field of culture. The Centre has played a unique role in the history of Grupa Azoty, which is why we are committed to continuing our fruitful cooperation,’ said Tomasz Hinc, President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty S.A.
The Centre’s main mission is to present interesting artistic repertoires and oeuvres, heighten the audience’s sensitivity, promote Polish culture and present artistic trends from Europe and the world. The Mościce Arts Centre’s priority is to educate through culture and art, providing a stimulus for developing talent and encouraging creativity. Educational programmes are developed in collaboration with professional theatres, troupes, orchestras, visual artists and filmmakers, galleries, organisations and institutions.
‘I am very pleased that culture is one of the pillars of Grupa Azoty’s CSR activities. It is important for businesses to support cultural projects and events as such support allows them to communicate their message to a wider audience. One should remember that culture is more than just national heritage, but perhaps above all it is about communication between people, an opportunity to get together, to create beauty. I believe our cooperation will be fruitful and will allow us to jointly pursue quality projects for residents of Mościce, Tarnów and the region,’ said Anna Chmura, Director of the Mościce Arts Centre.
In exchange for the provision of promotional services, Grupa Azoty can now broadcast its ad before each film screening at the Millennium Cinema and before events organised by the Centre. The Grupa Azoty logo will be displayed on the www.csm.tarnow.pl website and on all advertising materials distributed by the Centre. The Mościce Arts Centre building will permanently feature the Company’s promotional materials.
The agreement is valid through June 30th 2022.
The Mościce Arts Centre offers a wide range of artistic programmes and projects, including concerts, performances, film screenings, exhibitions, events, thematic workshops and permanent classes. Since 1963, the Centre has been home to the Świerczkowiacy Song and Dance Ensemble, which offers educational activities for children, teenagers and adults. It educates its own singers and dancers. The Centre’s educational projects are targeted at organised groups (kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, as well as universities from Tarnów and the region) and individuals (children, teenagers, adults, the elderly, families).
