Grupa Azoty becomes Main Partner of FOR A BETTER TOMORROW Association

In 2022, Grupa Azoty will provide support to the FOR A BETTER TOMORROW Association (Stowarzyszenie ICH LEPSZE JUTRO), which engages in the education, therapy and rehabilitation of disabled children, provides support and assistance to their parents through specialist consultations and classes, and organises recreational activities.

The agreement is yet another project pursued by Grupa Azoty to support the Association. It is worth noting that funds raised during the third edition of Grupa Azoty New Year’s Charity Concert went to children under the care of the Tarnów-based FOR A BETTER TOMORROW Association.

In 2022, Grupa Azoty will sponsor charitable events organised by the Association, including the Artists for Children concert to be held at the Mościce Art Centre in Tarnów in May and the 9th All Souls Concert to be held at the Ludwik Solski Theatre in Tarnów in November. The charity concerts will support further development of facilities run by the Association: a kindergarten for children with disabilities and a counselling centre for children in need of early development support.

‘We have worked with the FOR A BETTER TOMORROW Association since its inception. Over the past few years, we have seen their help is guaranteed to reach the people who need it most. We wholeheartedly support and will continue to support such initiatives to demonstrate that what matters to our local communities also matters to Grupa Azoty,’ said Zbigniew Paprocki, Member of the Management Board and CEO of Grupa Azoty S.A.

More than 300 children are under the care of the FOR A BETTER TOMORROW Association. The public-benefit organisation runs a kindergarten in Tarnów for children with autism, visual impairments and disabilities, a counselling centre providing early development support, a network of sensory integration therapy centres, and an active therapeutic day care centre and a psychological and pedagogical counselling centre in Parkosz.

‘We are happy that Grupa Azoty will accompany the Association throughout the coming year,’ said Krzysztof Drwal, President of the Association’s Management Board. ‘Through our collaboration with the Main Partner, we will be able to help children with disabilities even more effectively and offer residents in our region an opportunity to participate in a number of exciting cultural events.
