The opening ceremony of the LOTTO Polish Individual Chess Championship and the PGNiG TERMIKA Polish Individual Women’s Chess Championship was attended by Tomasz Hryniewicz, Vice President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty S.A.

As a leader of the fertilizer and chemical industry, we want to support Polish athletes so that they can focus on delivering top performances. The Polish Chess Championship is the most important national tournament played to determine the best chess players in Poland. Based on the tournament results, the Polish Chess Federation selects members of the national team and then members of the Olympic team. We couldn’t miss the opportunity to join the event as one of its Partners. I would like to thank the organisers for inviting us to support the tournament. The Polish Championship will also include the PGNiG TERMIKA Queen Gala and the GRUPA AZOTY Unofficial Polish Blitz Chess Championship. The event ends on May 8th.
