The measures we have taken constitute a considered business response to an extraordinary market situation. Their purpose is to maintain stable supply and to actively protect the market and Polish farmers against excessive volatility in fertilizer prices.

At the same time, we would like to emphasize that fertilizer production is continuing on an ongoing basis at maximum production capacity. The volume of fertilizers available, together with inventories held in the warehouses of the authorized distribution network, is sufficient to secure both current and future needs of agricultural producers.

Grupa Azoty has always been—and will remain—one of the pillars of Poland’s food security and a strategic partner for Polish agriculture. Our responsibility is not only to produce fertilizers, but also to manage their availability in a stable manner amid high volatility in the fertilizer and feedstock markets—particularly the natural gas market, which remains the main cost component in fertilizer production.
