The role of the Director General will be to initiate and coordinate activities related to the day-to-day operational management of Grupa Azoty S.A. in cooperation with other Vice-Presidents and the Managing Director. 

President Szczypiński will be responsible for managing and coordinating production processes, planning overhauls and maintenance shutdowns, and initiating development and investment projects. He will also manage the core businesses area and the Parent support area, supervise the operations of the Plastics Business Segment as well as other organisational units, oversee and coordinate the restructuring processes being implemented at the Company, and approve the reports, documents and protocols related to the areas under his supervision at Grupa Azoty S.A.
