Two of the Grupa Azoty Group’s projects related to the hydrogen economy have been included in a pipeline of significant projects by the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance (ECHA). The proposed projects cover several areas of the hydrogen economy, including generation of hydrogen, production of ammonia, as well as production of hydrogen for a wide range of transport applications.
The last six months on the Polish fertilizer market was unlike anything producers, distributors and farmers have ever seen before on the Agro supply market. Record volatility and soaring prices of key feedstocks used in fertilizer production, namely natural gas, phosphate rock and potassium chloride, triggered an unprecedented, sharp growth of production costs, which in turn pushed up fertilizer selling prices.
As part of its support for the uniformed services protecting Poland’s security and sovereignty on a daily basis, Grupa Azoty has donated equipment for the Territorial Defence Force, including specialist binoculars with laser protection filters and everyday items like thermos flasks and power banks.
Grupa Azoty has signed an agreement whereunder it has been become Strategic Partner and Patron of the Paderewski Centre. During the year-long parthership Grupa Azoty will also be Patron of the Centre’s Concert Hall. Other promotional and advertising activities will include displaying the Group’s logo during concerts, conferences and other events.
On November 17th, a sponsorship deal was signed between Grupa Azoty S.A. and the City of Puławy under which the former became the title sponsor of a sports and entertainment hall in Puławy. The new facility will be name d ‘Grupa Azoty Arena’.
