Further to a decision taken by the Management Board of the WSE on 8th August 2013 the new index will include also Grupa Azoty S.A., as one of the two companies representing chemical branch in the index. Entering the main WSE index is one of the strategic goals of our company.

The new main index will include 30 largest and most liquid companies covering thirteen branches; the chemical branch will be represented by Grupa Azoty and Synthos.The composition of WIG30 index is determined by the value of share portfolio of 30 largest and most liquid companies listed in the main market of the WSE. The base value of the index was set as at 28th December 2012 and amounted to 2582.98 points.

WIG30 is a price index, i.e. the calculation of its value includes only prices of transactions in shares and does not account for revenue from dividends. The WIG30 portfolio will include no more than 7 companies from every listed sector while the share of a single company in index capitalization is capped at 10%.
