Grupa Azoty ranked second in the survey of best investor relations in 2017 according to retail investors, organised by the Parkiet daily and the Polish Chamber of Brokerage Houses. During the official gala event, the award was collected by Paweł Łapiński, Vice President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty S.A., responsible for capital market relations.

Investor relations ranking of the WIG 30 index companies in 2017 was topped by Cyfrowy Polsat and Tauron. In the opinion of managers and analysts, Cyfrowy Polsat, ING Bank Śląski, and LPP are the best in terms of communication with the market. On the other hand, the readers – individual investors - gave their highest praise to Tauron, Grupa Azoty, and PZU.

Grupa Azoty S.A. was recognised in the Best Annual Report 2016 awards programme, organised by the Institute of Accountancy and Taxes. The Company’s annual report, containing useful information presented in a user-friendly manner, was distinguished for its highest value for shareholders and investors. The judging panel highly rated the standard of presentation of Grupa Azoty’s strategy contained in the annual report, and its report on compliance with the Code of Best Practice for WSE Listed Companies was considered exemplary.

On June 2nd–June 4th 2017, the Polish Association of Retail Investors held the 21st WallStreet investor conference at Hotel Gołębiewski in Karpacz, Poland. With a few hundred attendees, the event is the largest meeting of retail investors in Central Europe. Grupa Azoty participated in it for the tenth time.

Grupa Azoty S.A. received an award for the highest standard of communication with retail investors it had maintained since its IPO on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The award was accepted on behalf of the Company by Paweł Łapiński, Vice President of the Management Board.

“The Polish Association of Retail Investors recognises the efforts Grupa Azoty S.A. has made to maintain the highest standard of communication with retail investors since its IPO on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2008. Grupa Azoty’s communication policy has always been transparent and, first of all, active, with due consideration given to the specific needs of this group of market participants. What is also important, the Company has pursued an active information policy regardless of the situation on the market or changes in its Management Board,” said Jarosław Dominiak, President of the Management Board of the Polish Association of Retail Investors, in his award presentation speech.

Grupa Azoty S.A. nad Grupa Azoty Police has earned the prestigious title of ‘Transparent Company 2017’ in the just completed second edition of a ranking run by the Parkiet daily and the Accounting and Tax Institute, with the support of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Last year, in the first edition of the ranking, Grupa Azoty S.A. also became one of the laureate of the ranking and was awarded the title of "Transparent Company of the Year 2016".

The aim of the ranking is to select the most transparent and communicative companies listed in the three main indices: WIG20, WIG40 oraz WIG80. Grupa Azoty S.A. was distinguished from the companies from the mWIG40 index, and Grupa Azoty Police - from the sWIG80 index.
